About me

My name is Chiara Faipò and I live in the north of Italy with my family,  three Italian Greyhounds and a Galgo Espanol.  I work in an insurance agency and I spend my free time with my dogs and making little hand-made works for humans and dogs.

I am interested in dogs since I was a little child and I was very attracted by the sighthounds, dogs with a so special appearance and temperament.

After a long wait finally in january 2005 my first italian greyhound arrived in my life, a black male of 3 months old named Diesel dei Raggi di Luna. It was love at first sight and after only four months arrived a black female, Asia, probably a mix with a pinscher. In february 2007 arrived another female, Senza Fine dei Raggi di Luna, an adorable, crazy and funny puppy two and a half months old. They are wonderful dogs with an exceptional temperament and a magnificent appearance. I can not imagine my life without them. In april 2009 my dream to share my life with a galgo espanol came true:  San Agustin del Guadalix Alizeé arrived from Germany.

Over dogs and sighthounds my other interests are:

- photos of nature and animals;

- reading especially books about the canine language to learn as much as possible on the communication between  human and dog;

- cross stitch and hand-made works;

- art because sighthounds are very ancient dogs and you can find them in a lot of paintings of different periods;

- machines and motors;

- sports;

- TV series like Desperate Housewives, Alias, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Criminal Minds, CSI, Bones, Smallville, Dexter and Dottor House.

I am a member of the “Circolo del Piccolo Levriero Italiano” since 2005 and a member of the “Club del Levriero” and of the German Sighthound Club “DWZRV”  since 2009.
